Default system pressure

Does the fuel system stay pressurized when the car is shut down. How much pressure stays in the system and for how long?

Default

fuel pumps hace checkvalves that allow fuel to go forward and not back. most will hold pressure for about a week and some change. it will eventually leak back but its really slow. once the check ball is unservicable though, you'll notice your cranking times have increased.
