Default Clips on injectors harness

if 2 are missing on the #1 and #3 injectors, could this cause any problems?

We've having a problem with the car cutting out on the top-end, could this be the cause of it?

I do not think so. Its purpose it to keep the connector from comming off. Unless the connector has some worn socket-pins and the connector is "REAL" loose you might have a issue. But very unlikley that this is where your problem is.
