Nasty Performance race tank installed!
Well I just finished installing my fuel tank I got from Nasty Performance. I will say that this is a tight fit, but it does fit. The only thing I had a problem with was getting the straps to bolt up around the tank. Nate said there were some that experienced this problem, and others that did not. The problem was the straps are formed around the stock tank and the stock bolts are not long enough to reach the hole to pull the strap up and conform it to the new tank. I got a longer bolt to help pull it all together and form it to the tank, then I removed that bolt and put a shorter on in it's place.
This is what I used:
note: You can get the bolts from Home Depot.
1 10mm x 1.5 x 100mm (used this one to reach the hole and pull the strap up into place)
2 10mm x 1.5 x 70mm (I used these to bolt the tank to the body)
2 1 1/4" spacers (I used a piece of round stock with an oversized hole for the 10mm bolts.)

I also want to add that this is only part of my fuel system. I purchased a complete system from Nate and everything I got was of the best quality.
Nate has been awesome to deal with as well. He is very knowledgeable and professional, and has taken a lot of time helping me and answering my questions.

Does the stock fuel gauge work with these tanks?
How is it when filling up?
I ask because I have a Speed inc. one, very similar. The inlet on the tank is at a 90* and it makes filling it up very slow. I also had to modify my fuel gauge, it's more of a reference now.
