brown top ford injectors?
My freind and I recently got some brown top injectors out of a ford turbo coupe and he says that they are 35#. These are the same as the svo injectors i think wich are 30# but since he ownes a turbo coupe and a svo i figure he knows more than me but i would still like a few opinoins before they go on the car so i dont drive my self crazy with the ifr tables.

Make sure they are high impedance, not low impedance, as I am fairly sure the brown turbo injectors are low impedance.

He did mean 35 at ford fuel pressure wich i think is actually 36 like TSDuke said. Also high impedence and low impedance always confuses me i just use saturated and peak and hold. But if I am thinking correctly low impedance is peak and hold ahd are cars run saturated or high impedance. I was also under the impression that saturated drivers could run either type of injector they just would not allow the peak and hold to open quickly they would just run them like saturated injectors. If I am misinformed let me know but I am pretty sure that is correct.

OK i think i might want to take my new question to the tunning section because i think you can run low impedance injectors if they are small enough. Although maby its the other way around you can run high impedance injectors on a low impedance driver.

The info I have on the Ford Brown Top Injectors is as follows:
Bosch Brown Top (early T-bird Supercoupe)
P/N 0-280-150-756
Injector Flow Rate @ 100% Duty Cycle -
32.0 Lbs/Hr @ 3 bar (43.51 psi)
37.0 Lbs/Hr @ 4 bar (58.02 psi)
These are High Impedance injectors.
LS1 uses High Impedance injectors. Primary advantage to high impedance injectors is that less heat is generated in the drive circuit. LS1 fuel system operates at 4 bar.
This info is correct - however, check the P/N on your injectors to make sure they are the same...
