Default Fuel Injector Decision....please L@@k!!

Hello everyone,
I have a quick question as i'm trying to decide on which set of 42lb injectors to get. I have the following two possible options..

The "Green" top 42lb injectors Ford Racing, part number... M-9593-F302 for about $280 shipped

or

Delphi Lucas 42lb injectors (not sure if they are all high-impedence) for about $200 shipped...

Are the green tops that much better that I should just get them, or are they equal in all regards?

These will be run in a heads/cammed stock 346 running approx 460-480hp and 410-420 tq. Will these 42lbs be too much, and what sort of problems could arise from running too large injectors? This vehicle will be getting tuned...will these larger injectors make for an easier tune?

Thanks a lot!!
Adrian

The 42's will be fine with a tune...very stable..I'd do SVO's as they work great and are OEM quality...that's cheap for $80 diff.

Would the Delphi Lucas injectors be OEM quality as well? Delphi is a pretty big name...haha.

That would be 460-480 to the wheels. I'm going to run a set of ARE LS6 style Stage 3 heads, flow 327cfm at .6 lift with 2.055/1.57 valves. Got FAST 90's, edelbrock 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8 headers, with an EDC Custom Ground cam...with supporting mods (CAI, SLP MAF, UD pulley, injectors, tune, ect...). If those heads don't push me to that number, i'll probably go for some ET 215cc 11* heads next. =D

Cheers,
Adrian

Either brand will work just fine. The Bosch SVOs are pintle style (same as stock) and the Delphis are disc type injectors. It might be better for you to ask the tuner which injector they feel more comfortable with. Good luck on reaching your hp goal!

Thanks,
