42# injectors too much for h/c car??
Working on putting together a h/c package and expect 420-430rwhp. I also have a 100 hp dry shot. I think the 37#delphis will work but should I step up? I dont really plan on any mods after these. Is there any drawback to using the SVO 42#?

Just fitted 36lb (43.5psi) injectors scaled to 58psi on 400rwhp LS1, was running 78% duty afterwoods. So if you want to follow the 80% rule you will need soemthing bigger!

It looks like the 37s or the 42s will work for my application. I will probably get whichever is cheapest!!! I have a racetronix pump and harness sitting on my living room floor waiting for me to get motivated to put it in.

Look at the mods in my sig. I just got everything for the heads and cam swap done this weekend by Kevin (superchannelkev here on the forums) and Crit at GS Performance and tuned by Marcin (redhardsupra here on the forums) at GS Performance. The 42lb SVO injectors are amazing. With the heads and cam install, the injectors were only running at 60% duty cycle at 6000rpm. They are great injectors for tuning (so i've been told, as well as I've seen with my tune), and offer great ability for expanding without being too overkill. Get them, they will work great. I'll be doing the SC and intercooler setup addition soon and will make a new post regarding this stuff (just a side note). Last thing. All 3 of these guys at GS Performance are amazing. If you want the best tune ever, and the best install without sacrificing any quality, these guys are the best and incredibly fair pricewise, and very personable. PM me or these guys if you have questions about my setup or your own.

My 42lbs green tops have done great for me. They have supported 450 rwhp head and cam setup with ~60% duty cycle at wot. You just have to have the tuner scale for the larger injector size and they will work fine. I will be spraying about 150 dry on my setup and do not for see any problems with them.
