Default Need help installing Walbro 255lph pump????

I've got the tank down and the old pump out of my 02 WS6. Do you use the small hose that fits on the stock pump and goes to the bottom of the plastic housing? How do you secure the pump to the housing? The new pump is smaller than the stock pump. Also how do you secure the the stock wiring to the new pump connector? Also do you use the stock flexible fuel tube or the new supplied rubber hose to connect the pump to the housing cap? Could someone please help, this is really pissing me off. I just want to get it done. Thanks!!!!!

Thanks man!!!! I was a breeze once I could see how it all goes together. The instructions provided are not exactly real helpful. You saved me a lot of head ache wasted time. Thanks again!!!

I ran across it when I was planning my install and it's a huge help....at least for folks that don't mind cutting the door.....GM should have put a door there from the begining.....think of all the labor time they'd save on warranty work on fbodies...

yours actually works the same way.....the door you have to cut will be closer to the front of the car....unless I am very wrong the spot for you is about 6 inches in front of the spot to cut on 99+ cars.....I saw a write up on camaroz28.com...head over and do a search for fuel pump door or fuel pump replacement.....
