Default How important are flow-matched injectors?

Is getting flow matched injectors worth the extra $100? I am stuck between Bosch 30# injectors or the Accel matched injectors. Pros/cons? Will I notice a difference? Thanks for any input!

if you're strainin for every last ounce of effeciency and power then get the flow matched ones, if not the off the shelf ones will be fine.....of course thats my opinion.....

I have seen remarks about the Accel injectors' spray
pattern not being ideal for our cars. Dunno whether it
is true or not, or across all Accel types.

Matching is peace of mind and consistency. Which
may, or not, buy you anything depending on the box
of as-manufactured ones you would've bought. The
next random box could be grouped as tight or tighter
than flow matching guarantees its window, or could
have one squirrel that drives you nuts chasing knock
retard.

If I were paying the retail price I think I'd pony up
the extra green. But I bought used ones and will just
check them myself for "close enough".

I had that squirrel in a set of Racetronix... no KR but different LTFT B1 / B2.
Then I went with a set of flow matched Bosch: now I have maybe 1% diffeence (it was like 10% difference at low load before and 5% at high load).

Excellent, thanks for the responses! Where did yo get your flow-matched Boschs, tici? I looked through most of the sponsors and I haven't really found a good set of 30# injectors yet.
