Default New fuel setup..

I dont have any pics of the setup inside the tank (I did it like MM's with an aeroquip Y block) but here is what I just did the other day. I ran 9.70s on stock lines but it was just flat running out, couldnt even stay under 13:1 a/f. Fuel pressure is holding a little better now and I was able to knock ~5% off my injectors and stay ~12:1 a/f with the -8 stuff so it was worth it IMO.

Just as a reference with the stock feed line/filter the dual 255s took 3.5 minutes to fill up a 5 gallon fuel jug from the rail. With the new -8 line, Y-block in the tank with a -8 bulkhead it now takes 2 minutes 10 seconds to move 5 gallons. Granted thats free flow but thats still a pretty good improvement. Same pumps were used for both tests and both were 12 volts at the pump. I also put connectors on the all the wiring at the sender so it will take me like 10 minutes to swap pumps if need be and I dont have to jack up the car to do so..

Nothing anyone hasnt done already but I thought I'd share

Very nice. Good luck with it. I am going to go all out with the fuel system next year. Right now just gonna run the intanks and stock lines. No sense in spending money where it is not needed. All I am waiting on for the install is warm weather. Since I do not have a nice garage to work in, and the fact that this car is my DD, the climate on the weekends are my main deciding factor for installations. I'll be snapping plenty of pics to post up in an ongoing thread.

First let me say, very nice.

Second...........Has that car ever seen weather other than 75* and sunny? The underside of your car is WAY to clean.

I think its just 1 filter , with the stock lines/filter left in place , unused .

I did my in-tank just like mightymouse's except I used braided line/fittings in the tank. I didnt take any pics of it, was too buzzed from the gas fumes

The stock filter is on the return line, havent found an easy way to eliminate it so I just put a new filter on, they seem to flow fine backwards..

Couple guys asked me for the parts I used, here is a pic of the stuff I ordered from Summit. I already had the regulator and -6 stuff to hook up the return to the stock 3/8 line.

FWIW I'm able to run my 57lb injectors a few % less then with the stock feed line and the fuel pressure isnt dropping off at high rpm anymore. Good enough for 6.08 @ 113.5 in the 1/8
