I'm wanting to put a set of Fuel Rails on my car, I know there are a couple of companies that make them. Some say you need adaptors, etc. What is needed? Are there any that come ready to bolt on an LS1? I know there is:

Sad but true - most of the time the fittings/SS hose runs the same price, if not more than, the rails themselves.

Nate @ Nasty Performance has a nice complete fitting/hose kit to go direct from your stock metal lines.

Stock rails will feed about 600rwhp. These rails will not change milage. and most colors to coat are $15

They are all pretty much similar in design and I think all use the same internal fuel passage diameter. So your choice pretty much depends on price, and finish options available that are what you want...

I went with the Fast Rails, I had no idea that the fittings and hoses would run approx $150 as davered00ss mentioned. If you know someone with left over #6 and #8 braided lines you can save a little since they only sell it by the 3ft sections. you'll only need 8 inches of each.

this maybe a dumb question and sorry to hijack but can you gety a fuel pressure gauge on stock fuel rail or do the braided steel line on stock rails?

I just purchased the fuel rail kit & install kit from LS1 Speed.

Everything bolted on okay enough, and I got all the braided lines/fittings assembled.

My question is tho, the end of the fuel rail, on the pass side/front.
The end of that rail kicks up right behind where the bracket is for the Throttle cable & Cruise control cable.

I was supplied a plug, which would 'barely' make the whole thing fit in that area.

But if I wanted to (and I do), attach a fuel pressure gauge, and other kind of fitting would interfere with that bracket.

Any tips?

Never heard of anyone having that problem? If you look up to CompTA's FAST fuel rails you can see that he has a FPG installed using a straight fitting and it clears the bracket. I want to use a 90 deg fitting so the FPG can be read from the side of the car.

Unless the LS1Speed rails are different? Allthough I can't see how they could be to far different as they still have to line up with the manifold mounting points and the injectors?
