Default runnin rich

I have a 2000 Z-28 and ever since I bought it used it has ran rich. I have changed the O2 sensors, but that did not help. I was told to buy a computer programer to lean out the engine. There is definantly a problem with the motor because the check engine light will not go out. Will some one give me some advice on what the problem may be?

If it is running rich you are going to have to get it tuned to lean out the air fuel ratio. Running rich can be a life saver if you are making big horspower to help save a stock bottom end. But running too rich can wash out your cylinder walls which will result in a motor rebuild.
I would go to autozone and have them get the code that is causing the light to come on, and see what it is. Then I would go and get your car on a dyno and check out the air fuel and get that set.
