Hey guys!!

Im building a project right now..

383 Stroker- Twin Turbos - Dart Heads- etcetc..

Ok I was looking at a stand alone fuel system.... Can megasquirt work with a carbed motor?? if not, if there another system that will??

Are you asking if MegaSquirt can be used to convert a carburated engine to EFI? The answer is yes, you just have to get all the other hardware, like an intake, injectors, throttle body....etc..

No My questions is can you USE megasquirt on a Car that has a carb...

MS is used to run the EFI system so I'd say no.

MSD had something to run the ignition so you can go carb'd. I think is what yoru looking for but I don't know the part # off hand. Someone will post it though.

Mega Squirt is an EFI controller. It takes the place of the carb, but needs other parts, such as injectors, etc...

So its either use a carb or MegaSquirt to meter your fuel.
