Default Stock fuel vent system

I did a several searches and couldn't find a resolution for this problem. Several people with the same issue, but it was with an aftermarket tank.

I have a 99 SS with a stock fuel system and tank. When I try to fill up the tank with gas, the fuel pump at the station shuts off like the tank is full. It is very annoying, but I am not sure what I need to do to fix it.

On my 69 Super Bee, there was a small metal line that vented the vapors trying to escape the tank during fill up. Since it was clogged, then vapor couldn't vent and it caused me alot of problems.

Now, I am assuming that the SS has a more advanced system and would like to know any information on how to clean the venting system. Do I have to drop the tank? Is there a filter for the system that could be clogged? Pics?

Thanks...
