Default New Era Performance can now Flowtest your injectors!

New Era Performance can now Flowtest your injectors!

Just wanted to let everyone know that New Era Performance now has the ability to clean and flowtest your old or new fuel injectors. The injector service includes a complete ultra sonic cleaning, leak-down test, spray pattern analysis and flow test. You also get a sheet that gives you all your numbers before and after the process. This will help poor performing injectors act like new again! This is also great for customers that would like "matched" sets so they can put injectors in certain cylinders. The price is $10/ injector for quantities of 4 or more. You can "order" the service on our website at www.neweraperformanceparts.com under the fuel injection service tab!

Here is a before and after video on a used set a local customer was going to put in his turbo project , needless to say , good thing he got them cleaned !

Can you (will you) do long and short pulse, pulsed
flow testing so that people could arrive at injector
offset values for tuning? Can you vary fuel pressure
and coil voltage to provide some idea of the variation
along the axes of the offset table?

What sort of absolute accuracy and day-day flow
data repeatability do you achieve?

There isn't really anything you can do as far as achieving offset values for tuning , but as a standard we do do a pulsed timed flow as well at 2400 rpms with a 6 ms pulsewidth to measure cc/minute at that rate just to test a pulsed timed flow as well for consistancy (we do this at 80% duty cycle when we match sets for high performance). And we do flowtesting at 43.5 psi and 58 psi for you guys as well . This was the most accurate and day-day repeatable equipment I could find , and the way it is used there really is no question about day-day repeatability .

How about the new injectors you sell, are they flowtested?

The prices that are shown on the site for injectors are not flowtested, These are bought in larger quantities from large companies. If you want new injectors matched, its an extra $80.

When mine arrived from NEW ERA I went on a flow test process to select the bigger one for the #7 cylinder.
They where almost perfectly matched flow... and for so cheap...and for so much power (in the sig).
Thanks for the great customer sevice NEW ERA :

I just received my 42# injectors back from Mike at New Era. According to the flow sheet all of my injectors' flow was improved after the cleaning and one injector flow a little more (perfect for cylinder #7). I also want to thank Mike publicly for painting my injectors, something which is far above and beyond what I paid for.

Thanks Mike & New Era performance for offering such a great service at an affordable price!

I see the cleaing service on their web site, what needs to be done to support this? Do you print your order and put it in the box with the injectors? What is the turn around time?

Vettenuts, you should get an email after you order, throw that in your box just so we know who to send it back. Once you order, you will see where to send them. Should be the 95 Mt Read Blvd address. Turnaround is usually 1 day.
