They do but you will need different plugs for them.

you can get 39lb cobra injectors and EV1 to EV6 adapters cheaper than a set of 42lb'ers. The Cobra pull injectors are going for next to nothing.

So the cobra injectors are EV6 and we need EV1? Which is oval?

Those converters are around $100. Is there a cheaper way?

EV1 and EV6 describe the injector body themself, not the connector. EV1 is the fat type, and EV6 are the skinny ones. For connectors, you usually see Jetronic (square) and USCAR (oval). I dont want to confuse you, but people usually refer to the Jetronic as EV1 and USCAR as EV6. In most cases, EV1 and EV6 injectors are interchangeable as long as they have the same connector or you have adapters, even though there is a little difference in their length. I dont know the specifics on GM vehicles, but with Fords, return fuel systems use EV1s and returnless use EV6.

actually, there are some returnless Ford cars that use the square connectors as well. The V6 and Cobra mustangs (99-04) use the oval, where the GT of the same years use the square connectors. (don't ask what ford was thinking)

check all of the ford sites, because the prices have gotten ridiculous for them on Ebay. I got mine off of svtforums for $75 shipped, and they only had 3K miles on them.

yea i checked ebay and thats where I got confused. Most were the same price or more as 42s considering the adapters are $65 for the 39# on top of what they cost.

Default Connector adapter P/N

Could someone please post the correct Part Number for the Casper adapter needed to adapt a Cobra 39lb injector to the LS1 connector. I see multiple similar adapters on the Casper site and don't want to order the wrong one. I'm in Iraq currently and won't get to see the Cobra injectors I purchased or LS1 fuel system for a while, but would like to purchase the adapters to have on hand when I get back. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the info Sidewayz and Wicked. I picked some up a while back from svtperformance, but I think I'll make my own adapter from a junk yard since it's that easy. I wish more people knew how easy and cheap this was!
