Walbro 255 OEM replacement?

Walbro 255 OEM replacement?
My fuel pump has taken a dump, my car is BONE STOCK. A new OEM pump is $350. Can I just buy a Walbro 255l and have the GM dealership drop that in (provided they will do it)? Will it look/perform like OEM? Will it draw more power, be noisier, overpower the regulator, anything like that? Will be be as/more reliable than the OEM pump? Will it drop in just like an OEM pump and require no "changes" of any nature?
Any other things im overlooking?

2 ways I have stock removed pumps $50 or Walbro LS1 replacement pumps $149.99 The Walbro sometimes is a little louder than stock but other than that it will function and be as reliable as stock. Walbro make most OEM pumps so this is just a higher volume pump.
