Default fuel bucket question

is the fuel bucket in a 98 fbody the same as 2001?

I have been researching this myself a little here lately, and I from what I understand, there is no fuel bucket in the 98's. The 99+ years have the bucket.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

May be since the 98 is a metal tank. I just need a spare fuel bucket for a project.

No the 98 isn't a fuel bucket at all
The pump assy. is just open and not enclosed at all
