what should i put in the fuse holder if im running 2 pumps off of the racetrnix harness. it comes with a 20amp i think. do i just need to put in a 30amp fuse? also do i need to add a fuse to the second pump?

Leave it as the 20 MAYBE add a 25 but you really need to add a separate feed for the other pump.

The Racetronix 10 gauge wire is too small for both pumps running full out. It will prob work for a little while but I would be afraid of burning the wire or the relay.

The Racetronix harness can easily support the load of two pumps. 10Ga. wire is enough for at least 30 amps. The relay is rated at 40 and the socket contacts at 46 amps. The fuse on the other hand is a problem. You should not run two pumps off of one fused circuit. Each pump must be fused separately. The fuse required for two pumps would be 40 amps because of the startup / inrush current. If there was an electrical problem with the pump, the in-tank wiring or bulkhead contacts may overheat before the oversized fuse would blow. This is why we manufacture a dual harness specifically designed for this application.
