Default Will a fuel feed side system work for 1000hp

I'm having issues running all kinds of fuel lines up and down the car and still make it look neat. I spoke with an SX distributer - he said to run the following sytem:

starting from tank -12 to 100 micron filter to aeromotive eliminator out -10 to fuel regulator mounted at mid car -10 out going to fuel rails 'y' off to (2) -8's and dead head the rails and -8 return from rear mounted regulator. He also said that this would do away with tuning issues at idle because of the 96lbs injectors I'm running.

If this will work it will save a lot of hoses from being up front, but it seems like the regulator would be a restriction. Why feed it -10 through a smaller hole in the regulator and back out through a -10. I'm no expert but wouldn't there have to be some restriction???

Can't you get a regulator that is -10 inlet/outlet? Don't see what it would be restriction.

This is why I think it is a restrictive, believe me I hope it will work I dont have enough room for all those -8 lines under my hood. I mean why have -10 & feed into that small hole & back out the other side & straight to the rail?

This is the basic system design - you should get the idea

Are there any benefits to using a returnless fuel system like the one in diagram?

Best way to run the lines is to run it thought the rails and Y the output side to a regulator, this way its MUCH harder to suck the rails dry.

only delayed response from the regulator

run a single -8 up to the rear of one rail, cross over to the other rail, out the back of that rail with -6 into regulator, out of regulator (front mount) into stock fuel pressure line, install new fuel filter out back, and of course remove the old pump from the tank.

probably said this assuming you would vacuum reference the regulator
