F/I Fuel System: 1000hp System setup
I emailed nate at nasty performance and he gave me a layout for a stage 2 race setup. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for me.
I now have a 00' TA with 475hp ls1, I have the exhaust, trans, and rearend out now, so I would really like to setup a fuel system now so I dont have to drop the tank and do all that later when the rear is back in etc..
Could I run the 10an lines etc, rising rate regulator and maybe a smaller pump then for the future F/I setup and then just swap pumps?
Can the regulators flow back alot of excess fuel i might not be using?
Fuel rails handle that?
Whats your guys opinon on fuel tanks, buy a sheetmetal one or modify existing??
Thanks
Might be a dumb question but did the 2000 ls1's have a fuel press. regulator or the variable voltage pump for fuel systems?

I have a complete setup for sale for $1300 shipped. Its the same as nastys stage 2 race kit, minus the fuel tank. Too many problems with aftermarket tanks and Its ~1200 cheaper. Click link in my sig.

The -6 is from the bottom of the regulator to the fuel cooler and it attached to the stock fuel supply line and returns back to the tank. I have a fitting in the bottom of the tank and a whole new feed.
I think MightyMouse went to ~1k HP on a trubo setup using the stock supply line.. I think.

OK~
I THINK I HAVE STOCK INJECTORS IN THERE, WHAT ARE THEY GOOD TO?
SO do most regulators have a big enough return port if the pump is slightly oversized?
I am looking for a system now i can just upgrade pumps, rails, and injectors later....
Pump would only need to be good for 650-700hp tops. Run -10 line now and get it setup for later?
Anybody?
