Default Do I need high pressure hose on the return side?

I am in the process of putting 97/98 vette rails on my car and I am looking at my options for 5/16" hose on the return side. I noticed they have SAE30R9 which is good for way over 60 psi, and they have SAE30R7 which isn't good for that pressure. Do I need the R9 stuff or will I be fine with the R7 stuff?

The return pressure should not be much at all.

The thing to watch is fuel injection systems employ constant flow & that exposes the hose to more fuel volume than what the engine actually uses. This effectively makes the hose age many times faster than a carb application (non-recirculating system) would.

A cheaper low pressure hose may become brittle & crack in as little as 6 months. I've seen this happen. For this reason, I would only use fuel injection rated hose, or preferrably a braided type for better protection.

Is 10 feet going to be too short? That is the only length I can find.
