I want a full return fuel system and have purchased a 97 Corvette fuel rail (GM P/N 12556705) and regulator (12554677). I was surprised to find a port on the regulator that I assume was connected to manifold vacuum. Since my PCM corrects injector flow rate for manifold pressure in software, I should leave the regulator port referenced to atmospheric pressure. Is this correct?

or you can just post one number all the way across the ifr table and connect the hose. that port is not only vacuum referenced but boost referenced as well

Thanks for the suggestions but I have a new question. I downloaded a supposedly stock 1997 Corvette PCM file and found that the IFR table is not flat – it is essentially identical to my 2002 LS1 IFR table. Where was the regulator port connected on the 97 Corvette?

If using this regulator on a truck with an LS6 intake that port would need to be connected to manifold vaccum right?
