Default Any suggestions for a Fuel Pressure Regulator?

hey guys, I'm running a 5.3 in my Jeep. The FPR that I bought is a piece of ...err... junk... so I am looking to replace it. I looked in the Fuel related topics but didn't see any threads...

Anyway, I am looking at Aeromotive and Mallory but I really know nothing about them (other than they are in Summit). I need to run 58psi and have a return. I want to run a gauge so I can adjust the pressure... Anybody have any experience that I can tap off of?

Thanks.

I use the Aeromotive components on the cars I plumb.
They have a good selection, depending on the FWHP/pump, etc, that you want to support.

I asked this question in the FI section. The responses I got were that Weldon makes an excellent regulator, but it is pricey. Fuelab is another one that was recommended by Nasty Performance. Others said they've had good luck with Aeromotive or Magnafuel. It's all a matter of choice...

Tiago reccomended an Aeromotive for me, so that is what I am getting for my new setup. A bit pricey, but so is everything else in this hobby!

I went with the 13155 pump. It is the same as the 13105 pump, just all shiney (Plus I don't want any RED in my engine compartment)

I think I'm going with the Aeromotive 13109-6...$135 plus shipping from most places

Default Fpr

Weldon 2040, they have smooth fuel pressure with no surges or drop offs. This is what I'm installing right now.
