If you're going to run all new line and plan on big upgrades in the future, get the sump fitted with at least a 10AN fitting, if not a 12AN fitting. I think I'm going to run a 10AN line for the time being but also putting a 12AN fitting in the tank with a cap on it. That way I can easily drain gas out of the tank, and I can upgrade to the 12AN line if I ever need to and cap the 10AN line then

400HP you could get away with a -6 line after the pump but I would suggest a -8 line after the pump and a at least a -10 to go to the pump from the tank, I put a -12 line on mine from the tank to the pump and a -8 to the engine.

I had a 86 Grand Prix with 383 and Paxton supercharger - ended up running a 1/2" aluminum line for feed and 3/8" line for return. This engine was carbed so I ran an electric inline with boost referenced regulator. Never had any fuel starvation problems.
