I got a code P0440, then the same day, I went to fuel my car. and it wouldn't go in. I took the filler neck off, and pushed on the flap in the tank. Immediately a lot of pressure was released. The tank was so pressured up that the flap wouldn't open to let the fuel in. I wonder if this could be the purge valve, or vent valve at the tank. I got a scan tool, and commanded the vent valve on and off, and could hear a loud click when I did it. I couldn't hear the purge valve click, but it is progressive, so it may not (10%, 20%, 40%, etc.) Anyone else had this problem before?
