Default Removing air pipe

I have a '99 Trans Am WS-6. I have added a strut tower brace, breather in place of the oil cap, and fuel rail covers. The air pipe seemed to be in the way. I am in the process of removing it. Is there anything in particular I need to watch for or do other than capping off the stock exhaust manifolds? I don't have emissions control where I live.
