Default LS2 injectors in LS1 rail?

Well, in getting the car tuned the other day, I found out my stock injectors were running at like 120% duty cycle...lol. So I need some bigger ones. Someone said to go with some factory LS2 injectors and could probably pick them up cheap used, so I'm asking if this is possible. Am I going to run into any problem or should I just breakdown and buy something else. Please specify what injector, this is new to me. Thanks again.

I think the ls2's are 32lb and yours are currently 26 lb, but the injector plug is different. You could change the injector plugs and use the ls2's but they are still gonna be up there in duty cycle I believe, 36's might be ok though.

The LS2's are 34lb, and they are longer in length. You need the LS2 Rails. I'll let you know about the connection when I get them bro.

The ls2 uses a EV6 connector while the ls1 uses a EV1 connector. They are also Shorter then the EV1 injector, this is why you need the Katech adapters to use ls1 injectors in the new ls2's.

OP,

At the point your at, it would be wise to get a set of 42's or even 60s (more cost effective). Im sure if you haven't done a fuel pump you are on the edge.

Thanks for the info. Yea, you're right, I probably need to upgrade the whole fuel system. So, what do you think, dual in-tank pumps, and 46's or 60's? What can both these injectors be had for? Not sure what's all possible to make it work, open to all setups. Thanks again.

Got a better deal, with these ones you clip the connectors already on there, and wire the new ones in.
Call SMC Performance, 248-276-0483, they are $44 for all 8 connectors.
