Fuel Question non LS1 Please HELP!!! well i made a thread and for some reason everytime i click it my internet kicks me off. so i'll try it again. I've got a 99 Explorer Sport with the 4.0 SOHC, i dropped my fuel tank cause my gauge quit reading and found a black plastic tray in the bottom of the tank loosely floating around causing a clunking sound when i come to a stop. what is the purpose of this tray??? should it be moving freely??? it has apparently broke my float off which is the trouble with the gauge.
