Default Cam only Ls1! Should I upgrade my injectors!!

I am doing a cam swap in the next few weeks with a Joe O cam. Specs
specs are 228/232 595 LIFT 110-LSA, also am adding a Ls6 intake, ported and polished throttle body and maf. My question is I have a set of 36lb injectors that I want to put in also. Will this be to much with stock heads?? It will be getting a tune. And anyone think I may need to upgrade the fuel pump?? The cam came out of a car with stock fuel system. Or should I just use my stock injectors and fuel pump??? Also will be upgrading the springs of course and pushrods.

I would put the 36lbs ones in. I'm running 42lbs ones with a cam only setup also. As far as the fuel pump if you can upgrade it why not better safe than sorry!!!

The stock injectors and pump will be ok with that cam, but if you have 36# injectors just laying around it couldnt hurt to put them in. Just be sure to get a tune otherwise it wont run well.

i would get 32lb injectors. if you plan on doing heads and nitrous...

36lbs seem a lil much to me...they might decrease fuel mileage alot. unless im wrong in the way these things work, which is always possible.

wish i knew you had injectors, i would have traded you the cam plus a lil cash for them lol.

I've been thinking about the same thing. One member here who made crazy rwhp with cam only car was running 42lb injectors.

Ya I mean there here why not just put them in now and tune them down. It shouldnt hurt my fuel mileage if they are tuned in right.

I run 42lb. injectors in my H/C car. They are more than enough but long as they are tuned properly they dont hurt mileage at all and you have more fuel available if you get heads or a power adder later. For your application the 36 lb. injectors will work fine. You are getting a cam so a tune is necessary anyway so you may as well get the injectors installed so you dont have to get another tune later.
