Default is there a difference between the 82-92 fbody walbro pump vs the ls1 ones

my buddy has a walbro 255 for an 82-92 fbody that hell give me a killer deal on. is there a difference between this one and the ls1 walbro pump

Yes they are different.
Most 82-92 replacement pumps are the lower pressure Walbro 307 version. The early style pump does not have the venturi port that your LS1 pump should have.

Do yourself a favor & buy the correct pump.... You will likely save yourself some trouble in the long run.
