I drive a 2001 Z28 and today was driving around looking to buy a house, when I get in my car start it and it dies. I try again, starts up then dies. Basically like I was running on fumes but I had a full tank. So keep my foot on the gas pedal and go a few blocks away let off and she dies again. I drive home and it seems it's back to normal. I did notice the RPMs staggering a bit. She has 93k miles. Fuel pump dying?

it might be that but it is kinda soon for a fuel pump to go out . but start with the cheep stuff first clean the throttle body and put a fuel filter on it. have you had the fuel tank on empty lately if so it might have starred up some trash on the bottom of the tank and mess up the fuel filt
