Default Possible fuel problem?

Hey guys!

I just recently changed my fuel filter... and during the installation, I may have encountered a problem...

I drove the car for approximately 5 minutes to the place I was going to do it. I then changed my trans mount while I allowed the car to cool.

I followed the instructions from install university (from memory)... I unscrewed the gas cap... and then went to relieve the pressure from the valve in the engine bay... I took a screw driver and poked it through some shop towels to help catch the gas that shoots out... I poked the little valve thingy... and...

NO gas came out... No sound of relieving pressure... Nothing... I continued with the change... When I took the rubber hose off of the filter, there was no pressure... Just some gas dribbled out...

Is this a problem? The car has nearly 100k miles. It had 3/4 tank of gas when I did it.

BTW... You could not blow through the filter AT all.... (I just got the car 2k miles ago!) but this will be a 10k change for me...

Thanks all!
Brandon
