My Racetronix install pics
I go the Racetronix pump and hotwire kit to support my turbo's. Just wanted to share my install pics as I did not find too many when searching to do my install.
I ran the wires behind the heat shielding up front and followed the fuel lines to the back. Used a couple of loops to take up the extra wire and tuck it out of the way. I think it came out pretty good.

If you had the trap door you could probably run the wires up along the factory harness and have someone up top pulling them through using the trapdoor opening. It plugs into the factory harness and fuel pump bucket up there.
Running the wires did not take long at all. Just the time to keep it neat and tidy it up along the way. Once I had a plan figured out it was very easy to run. Just took my time figuring out where I wanted it to route to avoid heat and debris damage to it.

How long did it do you to the pump and wiring harness? I am going to do the trap door method. Where did you mount the big relay, did you have to cut the send unit or anything to get it too fit or is it a direct replacement? I want to do mine soon and just trying to get an idea of what i need to do.

Ive done a fuel pump in 4 hours. Ive done 2 so far with no problems. The rear can stay in, you need to loosen the lower shock mounting bolts to get it down a bit further. I think the hardest part is getting the exhaust out of the way. I havent done a Hotwire kit yet. Good luck, any questions just PM me.

I grounded to the same bolt I mounted the relay to. I just cleaned the connections and grounded there.
That part was not long once I figured out how to route it. It took a bit to drop the tank. But that was easier since I took the exhaust off the car. I had a friend help and we dropped the tank with the car on jackstands. No loosening the rearend or anything. Just unbolted the tank and I think that one crossmember and it came right out. Pump dropped right into the stock bucket. That was a piece of cake and very easy to follow the Racetronix instructions.
With the exhaust out of the way dropping the tank was only a 10 min job or so with 2 of us.
Just take your time and have a friend or two to help when dropping the tank. At least 1 or two to hold it while someone else disconnects the electrical connections and fuel lines. Be prepared for a little drippage.
Neither did I. Just unbolted the one crossmember and the tank came out. Tilted it back and then dropped it down.
Thanks, I am glad they could help.
