Default Whats closets to stock and gets good performance.

After the car has been sitting in the drive way for 3 yrs the old gas is crap and i need to drop it and while its down i wouldnt mind putting a decent pump since looks like a new one from autozone is 400 buck plus i need to special order it. My fuel level sensor is out sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. dont know if there is a kit or pump that is close to stock or just not a pain to install with some good performance. This will be my first install. Mod on the car are headers, ls6 intake, and cam .600 lift car made with this old set up 412 rwhp and 390 tq. Any recomendations?
