Default 9" on the Dyno

I looked around but didn't see anything..

For those that would know this.. what do you think a expected loss of a full weight Moser 9" on the Dyno would be?

I've heard that it alone sucks up about 25-30hp, then you still have to factor 15-18% for the Standard.

Its hard to verify on the dyno because they tend to always read differently. I went to the dyno after my 9 inch install and it showed I was down 40hp. I went to the track in similar weather to last time out with the 10 bolt and ran exactly the same ET and .5 mph less (93 to 92.5 1/8th mile). GMHTP did an install of a Mosier M9 9" and a Strange S60 in LS1 f-bodies (differnt cars) and they recorded the differences on the dyno and according to them the 9" lost around 4hp and and the S60 lost 15hp (if I remember correctly). I have always been told to trust the track and not the dyno.

Yea, the Times are what matters to me, I was just trying to see if there was a rough estimate for it since I can get a more accurate pull on a Dyno now compared to when I had the Stalled Auto..
