Default slip yoke ?

I was wondering what all you M6 guys are running for slip yokes? I have a steel driveshaft with a 1350 joint. My tailhousing broke which I thought was because my shaft was 1" to short. I got a new tailhousing and had my driveshaft retubed only to find out that the splines in the yoke are twisted(which is probably what broke the tailhousing in the first place.

Spend the money and get a billet piece. The Spicer parts are good but if you are having problems like this then I would over build and never have to worry about it again.

I run a 1350 billet DS yoke (strange), 1350 billet pinion yoke (moser) w/spicer u-joints.

Shoot me a price on a billet one. The one I twisted was a Spicer. I don't need this happening again as it was kind of expensive to repair. They don't give those tailhousings away.

Might consider moving your torque arm mount.

Mine twisted also. Drive shaft was stock length 3 inch cm, spicer 1350 yoke with A 9-inch so about an inch short. My tail housing is ok but I pulled it to change the rear bushing to A rockland no walk bushing. New right length drive shaft and billet yoke. Mine was so bad I had a hard time getting it out of the trans it wouldn't slide in had to pound in till it fell out of the rear yoke. Hope this works for me. I love 6000 to 6500 clutch dumps. Good luck with yours.

Where can someone purchase that tail shaft bushing? I have had to chuck my tail shaft in a lathe and open it up some for my M/W slip. Used to pull a standard bushing out ever couple of passes. Hasn't happen since I gave it some more clearence but you never know. 1.29 60' 3200lbs 3rd gen running high 8's at 156mph on a drag radial.
