Default How much abuse can a 1330 to 1350 conversion joint take?

I am not sure on the ratings of the u-joints, but I have a Denny's HD DS with a 1330 u-joint in the front and a 1330 to 1350 conversion joint in the rear.

I want to go back to the track but was questioning if it would be smart to make a few passes with this or not. I have heard people talk about the conversion joint being a little weaker, IIRC. Car weighs ~3650-3700 lbs and looking to go mid to low 1.5x in the 60'.

So, those who have more knowledge when it comes to the u-joint, do you think it is something I need not worry about, or do you recommend the DS with 1350 series u-joints?

Years ago I had a driveshaft with a 1330/1350 conversion U Joint. At the time my 60 ft times were in the 1.55 range on ET streets. I let the clutch out at 4000 rpm at the line and the U Joint broke, the car never moved to trip the lights. The driveshaft then took out my exhaust system and put several puncture wounds in the floor. It was at this time I tried out one of the PST 3.5" alum driveshafts that I have since sold hundreds of. Thanks Bob. No need to take chances even with a safety loop
