Default Rear choice question

I have read over this forum for a good bit now and I know most swear by the fab 9. I have a bronco that I am putting one tone axles underneat and it comes with the 8.8. I am considering building a 8.8 or a junkyard 9 inch. I wont ever be over 550 and I wont see too many track days. Maybe 5 a year. Is it worth it?

Im going to be honest. Hassel doesnt bother me one bit. I am filled with more ambition then money. I have the 8.8 already so how much would it take to convert to work?
