Default 9 inch axle machining or sleeves for reluctor rings

All right I bought a 3 channel rear and put it into my 4 channel car but obviously the ABS and TCS didn't work because there are no reluctor (aka exciter) rings on the outer ends of the axles and no speed sensors either. I took the reluctor rings and sensors off of my old 10 bolt axles and want to put them on the 9 inch axles but I know they will have to be machined or have a sleeve pressed on to accept the rings.

Has anyone done this or had it done at a machine shop? What did it cost? I'm sure a decent machine shop can figure it out, but do you know the dimensions of the sleeve? Any help would be appreciated!

Guess not too many people have had this done and I think I see why: I went to a machine shop and they estimated close to 200 bucks to get this done plus they weren't sure if they would be ready by Friday...So I called Speed Inc. and they got a pair of axles that are already machined for the rings sent out to me for under $300 shipped and they should be here by Friday

I'm sorry I didn't see this thread sooner. Moser charges $100.00 for the machining on the axles. You should be able to sell your old axles though.Bob

Thanks Bob. I figured you didn't see this thread or you would have provided some insight sooner. I heard shipping the axles to Moser and back is what the kicker is though. I do have the axles up for sale now:
