What rear end do you have?
Do you have poly bushings?

Please create a signiture referencing you car and its specs.

If it is a roaring type of sound you could have an axle bearing going out, or it could just be out of fluid! I've seen it happen, I went with our roll back three years ago and picked up a Camaro that didn't have a drop of fluid left in the 10 bolt rear. The friction removed all the teeth from the gears and the car would not move. Bob

everything is stock. pretty sure it has fluid. but it doesnt sound like a bearing. bearings will somewhat squeel right? well, ill have to check the fluid again but pretty sure its full.

I had a constant wawawawawawawawawa noise in the rear. turns out it was carrier bearing. (I) thats right i fixed it. well except to get the bearing pulled off and a new one pressed on. drives nice now.

Listen to Bob. Bearings do not always squeal. the bad bearing sound can be amplified and its frequency and can change depending on where it is. Like in a big hollow axle tube.

Pinion bearings tend to squeal and scream since they spin faster than eveything else. I agree it might be and axle or carrier bearing.
