what does it mean?

Default what does it mean?

i have gear whine under load or just cruising meaning my foot is on the gas and i am cruising at a steady speed.....starts at about 30mph and stays gets louder at 35mph then stays steady through out the rest of mph but goes away with foot off gas.....car is a 99 camaro a4 put 3.73 gears on a factory 10 bolt with a true track diff any ideas?

Could it be an axle bearing? Anyone know what a bad axle bearing sounds like?

i had the same thing happening to me, started hearing the rear end whine alot.. i ended up finding out that i stripped the spyder gears in the carrier.. take off the cover and see if there is any metal shavings in the fluid

The gears ride on the front side of the teeth when your foot is on the gas or cruising and on the back side while decelerating. You have to pattern both sides to get it right.

they are brand new but have probally close to 700 miles on them......no metal shavings or anything was found
