Default 4.56 to much gear for A4?

I was wondering if gear combo would hurt or gain anything by useing it

27.5 tall tire M&H DR

LS1 bolt ons ,cam, maybe NOS,,,,4400 stall 4l60e

any info would be great

I think its to much gear personally...but Im not a auto man...M6 only

Your not going to be able to do the quarter without going into OD.

With a 27.5 tire you may have to overturn it a little in third going through the traps.

Exactally! Also how much tire growth will you have? you will be able to cross the traps screaming in third.Possibly getting a better MPH and ET.

With a good cam and the sqeeze 4.56's will not let you do a 1/4 mile in third period. Figure what your trap speed will be. Then figure you max speed in third and give yourself a touch of room for converter slip unless you have lockup
