Rear end gear size Hello everyone. Just registered to use the forum. I've been using it for some time know to get info and learn. My question is what size ring gear and spline do i have under this car of mine? 1995 z28 auto. I'm confused by 7.5 or 7.625 or 8.2 with 28 splines. Or does it have 26 splines? Any help would be great. Thanks, rick

You technically have a 7.625 because it has 28 spline axles. This is if it's the original rear and not an older one. Other than the axles everything else is the same between a 7.5 and 7.625.
