Default $300 Chromemoly stock replacement driveshaft

Getting jitters about the stocker and did a search but can't find out who has the Strange unit for the best price or another $300 replacement for the stocker. Any suggestions?

I didn't realize you can buy direct from Strange but I called and you can. Can/should I reuse the stock yoke off my driveshaft? They offer a Spicer slip yoke as a $65 option. I don't plan on going faster than mid 11's, using full slicks, going more than 420 RWHP and I have an A4. If I get just the driveshaft with U-joints it is $239 or with the slip yoke it is $304. Is it worth it? They don't give a rating of how much power it can hold but think this is a safe bet for me?

I purchased mine from them. The front is a straight 1350 u-joint. The rear fits a 1350 on the driveshaft, and has a special u-joint to bolt up to the 10 bolt (1330 or 1340?). When I get the new rear, all I need to do is install a 1350 and I'll be done. Since I have seen pics of the stock u-joint ruined, I feel a lot better going with the 1350.
IIRC, it is rated for around 1000 hp, somewhere in that range.

Did you get a new yoke? I'm going that route so all I have to do is drop it in.

Ordered. They gave me the length as 41" so hope that is right.

I think you'll like it. I got it with the yoke, and it was PnP.

I could have gotten it without and saved the $65 but figured not worth wrestling with for that amount. Was yours 41"? Will post up some pics when I get it.

Yes, mine was the stock length, 41 sounds correct. It's been 4-5 years, so I don't remember the exact number.
