Default 98 Trans Am A4 w/ 3.42

I had a 98 White Trans-Am A4 w/ 3.42 Factory option. It was ordered that way for Gay Pontiac in League City,TX. At the time had a few friends who were sceptical about it. But the door code proved it was a factory A4 w/3.42. After I sold it I found out it was rare. Anyone else ever run across an A4 w/3.42

First I've ever heard of an A4 with factory 3.42's?

my RPO code is also an A4 with 3.42 gear option... Apparently it was a 98 SS option... GMDealerWorld also verifies it by the VIN on my car...

My white 98 T/A was one of the first in the Houston area I assume. Got it in October 97. It had every option but ws6. The 3.42 gear was an option.

Please post a pic of the RPO code sheet, I've never seen a M6 w/ GU6 as the axle RPO code

I had a friend with a 2001 SS Camaro A4 and he ordered it, he SWEARS he ordered the 3.73 gears in it....some kind of SLP option. I know he had to repair the rear end a couple times when he owned the car but...supposedly when he took delivery of it new, it had 3.73s
