Default driveshaft rebalancing?? sponsors needed

ok so i want to get my DS rebalanced to see if its causing the vibration in the car.

i called a local speed shop and they quoted me $125

its not like its brand new, i just want to have it checked and balanced if need be

what do other places charge for this service??

and can someone point me in another direction as far as calling local places to get it checked?

thanks

A lot of local clutch shops balance driveshafts, check out your local yellow pages. A local speedshop would most likely outsource the balancing job. Bob

I had two local shops ATTEMPT to balance mine which in hindsight was a waste of time and money. My driveline vibe remained each time even though they insisted the DS was now perfectly balanced. BS.

I sent my Strange 3" chromeoly DS to PST in Florida and they balacned it for $45.00 which included return shipping. No more vibes after that. Turn around time was about a week.

The new tailshaft bushing helped a bit, the correct balance of the DS helped the most.
