Question LS1 Rear End Swap To LT1 Car?

okay i came across a guy with a Stock rear end out of a 1999 Camaro SS he is selling for $300 dollars. I need a rear end and i dont have a lot of money right now.

My question is will this rear end work in my car in the Sig?

Please Help!

Yes, you will need to change to the LS1 style brake setup or swap your LT1 stuff on there.

i would, i did!
you will need to get the emergency brake cables from a 98-02 if you retain the bigger Ls1 brakes which i strongly suggest

Make sure you both have the same ABS systems. 3 channel or 4 channel.

3 channel (non traction controlled cars) will have a sensors on top of the differential and a reluctor gear around the ring gear.

a 4 channel will have sensors on the axles and reluctor gears pressed on the axles.
