Default what will work?

i did a search and couldn't find any answers but i need to know if a v6 rear is useable in my 98z-28 or if a rear with drum brakes is useable...i only need the center section but i didn't know if it is the same? thanks!

Depends on the ABS setup. Does your 98 have 3 channel setup with ABS ring on the carrier or does it have the traction control with the ABS rings on the axles?

it has ASR.. also are the splines on the v6 axles different from v8 axles? i have found a few rear ends but they all have drum brakes on them and i need my disc brakes to work. thanks for your help!

What is ASR? Axle spline should be 28 on both.

If that is the case all the internal parts should transfer from the drum brake housing into the disc brake housing no problem with the exception of the axle shafts.

4th gen camaro's refer to tcs as ASR (acceleration slip regulation)
