Default Installed 9in rear with Strano springs

I just installed a 9in with Strano springs and it bottoms out...... Does anyone have this problem with there 9in bottoming out when lowered?

i have a Midwest 9" installed with the strano springs, and only the top torque arm mount knicked the top of the tunnel on a hard bump. After that, no more issues at all.

Bottoming out on what? The bump stops?

I think top of the tunnel - I got this from my boy and his car had a big dent pushing inwerd if you dropped the back seats foward pretty much right in the middle.....

I think like mentioned above it might be the torqe arm

If that's the case, then it is the torque arm, and you need to clearance it (or it will just clearance itself over time). This is a known issue...I had to clearance the tunnel for my torque arm (UMI) on my Strange 12-bolt.

I don't mean to the thread! But when he is talking about make clearance room he is talking about the mounting bracket where it will hit the floor board, just take a hammer and massage it a little to make the room! If you have any other questions leave me know and I will be glad to help!
