Default Found a great deal on a Moser 12-bolt...tell me what problems I might have

Hey guys, I found a great deal on a Moser 12-bolt out of a 6-speed car w/ ABS here locally. My car currently has a 3.23 4-channel rearend in it w/ a failing posi. I want to use this rearend but I want to know what problems I might run into because of the traction control, or anything else. I don't care if I keep the traction control or not. Basically tell me what needs to be done to make it work and keep the ABS, not necessarily traction control.

I know the Moser 12-bolts have mixed reviews on here, I already know about the tq arm issues and such. This deal is just WAY too good to pass up.

So is that 12 bolt set up for 3 or 4 channel. The only way your ABS will work is if it is a 4 channel rear. If it is 3 channel you are gonna have to change a bunch of stuff to make it 4 channel

Well, since the 12-bolt isn't set up for traction control (to my knowledge, haven't seen it yet), isn't it safe to assume it's a 3 channel?

Well if it is a 3 channel rear you will need different axles that can have the ABS rings pressed on them so you can use you 4 channel setup. That is the only way you can retain your ABS is to retain your traction control

So that's it then? New axles w/ ABS rings pressed on? That's not bad at all...

You will have torque arm mount issues.
